The Chevron University Partnership Program (UPP) is a global assemblage developed in conjunction with leading universities around the world to establish new programs, support faculty development, and provide student scholarships. The collaboration extends to new competencies required as research and technology development explores innovative ways of tackling critical energy challenges. Universities are selected based on their excellent reputation, forward thinking, and result-oriented education program.
USC UPP program, sponsored by Chevron, is now accepting applications for admission and financial support from prospective graduate students who wish to pursue their education in energy related focus areas in the following disciplines:

- Chemical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
The USC Viterbi School of Engineering, ranked in top ten graduate engineering schools in the nation, offers you the opportunity to pursue your education and conduct research with a focus on:
- Smart-Oilfield Technologies
- Deepwater Offshore Drilling
- Unconventional Resources
- More efficient solar cells
- High efficiency land-based and off shore based wind turbines

Recipients of the UPP scholarships will have continual involvement with Chevron, including opportunities for possible future internships and employment.
