The Center for Interactive Smart Oilfield Technologies is a joint University of Southern California and Chevron Center of Excellence for Research and Academic Training. Established in December 2003, CiSoft includes participation of research scientists from the Viterbi School of Engineering and Chevron.

  • November 12, 2009: Warner Williams of Gulf of Mexico's Business Unit meeting with UPP. For pictures from event Click Here
  • November 05, 2009: Warner Williams of Gulf of Mexico's Business Unit, will make a donation on behalf of Chevron Corporation to USC's Viterbi School of Engineering for scholarships, recruitments and training. As a part of the University Partneship Program (UPP), Mr. Warner Williams also meets with fellowship recipients. 
  • July 25, 2009: USC's Viterbi School of Engineering hosts the Summer Green Science and Technology Program with East Los Angeles College for newly graduated minority students in the East Los Angeles region on Tuesday, August 4th This event is designed to educate all attendees about academic and career opportunities available in energy related fields. During this workshop, students will hear from Chevron's Vice President of Gulf of Mexico's Business Unit, Warner Williams, and Dr. Andrea Armani, an Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Southern California. Many research areas will be portrayed, along with some helpful tips on applying to universities and obtainable financial aid options.

  • April 28, 2009: Chevron Corporation has come together with USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering collaboratively to host a summer camp for High School Juniors and High School Science and Math Teachers at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
