Farnoush Banaei-Kashani is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Information Laboratory (InfoLab), at the University of Southern California. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California for a dissertation that presented fundamentally novel approaches for approximate query processing in unstructured peer-to-peer databases. Dr. Banaei-Kashani's research interests are generally centered on distributed data management for the new generation of dynamic and distributed databases.
